This product is a solution mixed with TE saturated phenol, chloroform, and isoamyl alcohol in a ratio of 25:24:1. It is used for nucleic acid extraction from biological tissues and for protein removal after enzymatic reactions of nucleic acids. Isoamyl alcohol helps reduce the foam generated during use.
